Orders / A practical guide

Compare a purchase order and invoice

Use Industrial order review to compare extracted values for one purchase order and one invoice with the same reference.

01

Bring the matching pair

Select Industrial order review. Upload the order and invoice together. Both need the same PO reference and an explicit three-letter currency. An invoice number is not a PO reference.

02

Check the extracted identity

Confirm Document Type, PO Reference, Supplier and Currency before interpreting any comparison. Reference and supplier matching ignores letter case; it does not resolve aliases, legal entities or fuzzy reference differences.

03

Read the differences

The result can compare total amounts, supplier names, SKU sets, quantities and unit prices when the required values are present. Quantity and price comparisons need matching units. A total difference can be explained by tax, freight or commercial terms, so verify the originals.

04

Resolve extraction errors and export

Correct an extraction mistake using Edit values and save. The deterministic order checks are recalculated. Review the remaining issues yourself, then export the Results, Order review and available Line Items worksheets.

Check your result

You're done when…

You can explain each flagged difference or record that it needs a person's decision. A passing check does not approve payment or authenticate a document.

If something goes wrong

Multiple POs or invoices, partial invoices, duplicate or missing SKUs, different currencies and ambiguous amounts require manual review. Celrow does not invent matches, convert currencies or apply an unconfigured tolerance policy. Keep the preset's canonical field names for these checks.
