Files, limits and getting unstuck

Understand whether the problem is the document, its extraction result or a request that has not finished.

01

Check the file itself

Supported inputs are MSG, EML, OFT, digital PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLSX, XLS, CSV and TXT. Scanned PDFs and encrypted documents are not supported. Open the original locally to confirm that it is readable and has the content you expect.

02

Stay inside the batch limits

Free accounts allow 5 files per batch and 10 MB per file; Starter allows 20 and 15 MB; Pro allows 50 and 20 MB. Every batch has a 90 MB total limit. A one-time pack does not change your account's batch limits.

03

Choose the right attachment option

Deep extract reads supported attachment text and adds its stated credit cost. Strip only extracts attachments for ZIP download without AI field extraction or a timeline. Check attachment warnings: unsupported, nested, truncated or unreadable content may not be included.

04

Recover without duplicating work

If an upload response is missing, check Account → Recent batches first. If the existing page offers a retry, keep the same files, options and columns. Do not create repeated batches to investigate a delayed response.

05

Save outputs in time

Results expire after 24 hours. Attachment ZIP downloads are single-use and expire after 10 minutes. Check whether the ZIP already downloaded before trying again. To create a new ZIP after expiry or consumption, submit the original emails with Strip only; the shown processing cost still applies.

You're done when…

You know whether to fix the source, wait for an existing batch, split a large input, or ask for help.

If something goes wrong

For a model pause, unavailable service or repeated failure, follow the displayed message. A refunded failure does not reset abuse protection. Contact support with the request or batch reference and the error message, never payment-card details or confidential documents.
